Meet the Team

Dr. Jennifer Gerber purchased Green Lawn Animal Clinic in 2019. She graduated from Mississinawa Valley High School in 2005 then went on to receive her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from Wright State University in 2009. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Dr. Gerber is grateful for the opportunity to practice veterinary medicine in Darke County, where she grew up.

Dr. Gerber has been married to her husband Sean for 10 years and they have three children, Emma, Wyatt and Waylon. She has 2 cats, Kayla and Blackjack. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising and reading.

Shawntel joined the Green Lawn Animal Clinic staff in August 2020. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Miami-Jacobs Career College in December 2014 and has been working as a veterinary technician/assistant since graduation. She previously worked with Dr. Gerber at another practice before coming to work with her at Green Lawn Animal Clinic. Shawntel was born and raised in Greenville, Ohio. She and her husband, Andy, have two children, Norma and Thomas where they reside in Osgood, Ohio. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading a good book, fishing and being outdoors. She can not wait to meet you and your furry friends when you visit the clinic!

Darian started with Green Lawn Animal Clinic in November 2021, she has been working as a Veterinary Assistant since 2018. She absolutely loves what she gets to do, working with the clients and animals on a daily basis is something she looks forward to everyday. Darian is married to her best friend, Kalop and they have 2 amazing daughters, River and Lacklynn. Darian also has 2 dogs, Timmy and Nova and also Snowball the rabbit. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, enjoying a good book and spending time outside. 

Kristine started working at Green Lawn Animal Clinic in May of 2022. Kristine lives on a 20 acre farm with her two sons, their dog Yogi, cats Beans and Frankie and many goats. She previously worked at an Endocrinologist office for 10 years as a Medical Assistant. Veterinary medicine and animal husbandry have always been an interest to her and now she gets to teach her sons these same interests. When not at work, Kristine enjoys hunting and fishing, listening to music, cooking and DIY projects.
