Veterinarians use a variety of diagnostic techniques to screen for the presence of disease or diagnose disease. These techniques can also be used to monitor disease progression or response to the therapy.
Commonly used diagnostic tools are urinalysis, blood work, and radiographs. Dr. Gerber may recommend more in depth testing such as ultrasound, MRI or even a scope at the specialist.
